Jennifer Kitses is the author of Small Hours, published by Grand Central. Her short stories and essays have appeared in Short Edition, Newtown Literary, The Brooklyn Rail, Literary Hub, and other publications. She received an MFA from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, has worked as a breaking news reporter, and is currently an editor for the Stone Center on Socio-Economic Inequality. She grew up in Philadelphia and now lives in Jackson Heights, New York.
